About the dancers:

 

Gisela Galeassi
This 23-year old dancer was born in Villa Carlos Paz, province of Córdoba, Argentina. She is a teacher of tango, Spanish and classical dances. During the 1995-1998 period she was awarded twenty gold medals at different Latin and Hispano-American dance competitions. She also received the Revelation Artist Award at the Hispano-American Dance Competition and won several study research and advanced training scholarships.

In the year 2000 she toured Spain and Italy as member of the Carlos Paz Ballet (Ballet Carlos Paz). In 2001 she took part in the choreographic opening of the famous Cosquín Popular Music Festival (Festival de Música Popular de Cosquín). She worked as a tango teacher for the Secretary of Culture of the Villa Carlos Paz Town Hall, in the province of Córdoba. During the 5th Buenos Aires Tango Festival (V Festival Buenos Aires Tango), held in March 2003, she took part in the Stage Tango competition and won the first international tango award with her partner Gaspar Godoy.

Gaspar Godoy
This 22-year old dancer was born in the province of Córdoba, Argentina. He worked as a tango teacher for the Secretary of Culture of Villa Carlos Paz, Córdoba. During 1997 he started his dance studies at the Academia Gran Ballet Argentino.

During the year 2000 he toured Spain, Italy and France with the Tango Apasionado ballet company. In 2002 he was awarded three gold medals in the Professional Tango category during the Danza América competition. During the 5th Buenos Aires Tango Festival (V Festival Buenos Aires Tango), held in March 2003, he took part in the Stage Tango competition and won the first international tango award with his partner Gisela Galeassi.
